![]() My LDAP request server is using the LB LDAPS VIP 192.168.1.56, SSL is selected and port 636 is used. I have configured a LDAPS LB virtual server on port 636 see my other blog if you want to see how that is configured Go to Computer Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > Citrix Components > Citrix Receiver. If i currently logon to my Netscaler i dont have a change password option and i get no type of prompt my password has expired or is expiring in x number of days Some pre req’s – if your Netscalers are using RODC’s it doesn’t support password resets/Referrals to R/W Domain controllers, You must be using Secure LDAP (LDAPS) on port 636 standard LDAP on 389 is not supported for password changes They will also have the ability to click the change password button and change there password manually if its coming close to expiration or if they had the help desk reset it to a generic password They will also get prompts to let them know there password in expiring in x number of days after authenticating. If a user trys to authenticate on the Netscaler with a expired password the user will be prompted that there password has expired and have the ability to change it. In this blog we will enable and allow user password changes on the Netscaler. ![]()
